Sewing Room

Well for the past few weeks I've been working on my moms "sewing room"....it was my grandma's spare bedroom. That turned into my cousins room. It was a mess cleaning it out completely and then having the carpets cleaned. We finally picked out a pale yellow to paint it. It's so bright and cheery and perfect for a sewing/craft room. I've been thinking what other colors we could do in there and what kind of curtains would look good. I knew I wanted to make them and use these curtain knobs.

I really like how they look. Very casual and informal looking.

I love the blue toile. It's definitely not something I would want in my own house but for my mom it's perfect ;) I just don't know which pattern's I like more.

I also thought about all the blue stuff we could get to decorate...from plates to vases...I'm loving this cobalt blue right now!!!

I will have to post pictures when it's finished. Which won't be for a while...considering I'll be moving in my furniture until I can put my room together...these are definitely on going projects that will take a while to complete. Wait till you see what I have in store for my room :)

Anyways, I so did not take any pictures from this weekend. I went to several dinner parties and had a lot of fun seeing some old and new friends. Went shopping in Branson...got some super cute things...here are some of my favorites...

iphone

I've had my iphone for nearly 6 months ya'll. Let me tell you...to this day I'm still learning all the cool and neat stuff this thing does. I'm never ceased to be amazed at the new app's I find. This phone seriously does everything...so much so that I could never ever go back to any other phone. Apple has outdone themselves and whoever invented these puppies deserves FIVE gold stars in my book ;) .

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great weekend. I have a lot of stuff planned...maybe I'll take some pictures and post on here Monday.

Are you Lucky?

So our great state of Arkansas has just recently joined the lottery game. I have not bought a ticket yet but I think today will be the day. I've heard of so many people the past few days winning hundreds to thousands of dollars and I want a share of this! So anyways, since I am not lucky in love (as of right now) maybe I'll be lucky in money...ha!

I'm so excited to be going to dinner and for drinks with my best friend Anna tonight!!! I need a drink some days after working at my job all day. Well pretty much every day. Definitely, not on my diet (alcohol + pasta). We're going to the great OG (olive garden) where you can eat your weight in salad and bread sticks. Yum :)

Don't worry my pretties I'll still be doing day 3 of the shred tonight when I get home. I can tell you I'm already feeling it. Every part of my body is sore which is a good sign. The leg workouts are amazing and since I love running and am trying to get back into it this DVD is great for getting my legs in shape. After I finish the 30 day shred I'm going to do the "couch to 5k" running program. If only it wasn't 30 degrees outside and I could run outside.
