Bathroom Renovation

So for the last 6 months I've been slowly working on redoing my bathroom. When your a premed student every project takes 20 times longer to complete. Let's be honest with 3 hours of sleep on a average night the last thing your worried about is what your bathroom looks like. But anyways, yesterday I found this shower curtain at Bed Bath and Beyond and LOVE it. I'm doing a shabby chic kinda decor. I painted my bathroom pink and creme big wide stripes (ohhh so cute) and this curtain looks awesome with it!!! I found some rugs and towels at the polo outlet and so now I only need wall decor and bathroom ensembles to finish it up. I will definitely post pictures once I finish this project...but I'm needing some inspiration (and finals to be over) to finish up. Then, comes the bedroom...

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!!! It's hard to think 2010 is almost over...and when I look back on this year I am so thankful. God has blessed me beyond what I could ever imagine. Also, who doesn't love waking up to the smell of your mom cooking a feast??? Ahhhh love it!!! I hope everyone has a great AND thankful THANKSGIVING!!! :)

BIKES BLUES AND BBQ

Well ya'll its that time of year...BIKES BLUES AND BBQ!!!

I'm so thankful for all the bikers that come from all over and help support our local business. I have heard a lot of complaining about the mass of them and how they take over the road and what not BUT we have to take the good with the bad sometimes. Plus its ONLY one weekend!!! I have just been praying for the safety because honestly out of thousands of bikers I saw the last few days I have only seen ONE wearing a helmet...CRAZY. The fact is wearing a helmet increases your rate of survival by 50% if you were in a accident. Ok ok I'll stop being Dr. Mary!!!

Anyways...this is what my day consists of...

BE JEALOUS...VERY JEALOUS!

Ha...ya'll I am in a sea of books, papers, flash cards, and notebooks. I have so much homework that I actually woke up at 6 on a SATURDAY to start. I call that dedication :) But I never ask myself if its worth it...NOT ONCE..I just think to myself this is totally worth it. When I graduate next year and go to med school it'll all be worth it. I hope all of you can enjoy this beautiful beautiful weekend. If I had nothing else to do I would be out camping without a doubt...one of my favorite things to do in the Fall!!!!!!!

Time flys when your having fun!!!

Well well well...it's been a while friends. What a great summer I had. It went entirely way too fast but I had so much fun with my friends and boyfriend. I went to Mexico and Florida for two weeks as well!!! Lately, though I've been completely consumed with school. It has definitely taken over all aspects of my life...mainly my social one :(. But the end is in sight and I have my eye on the prize. It's been a little stressful getting ready for the whole med school application process but thankfully I have lots of help and I serve an amazing God who takes care of me! Anyways, as you see above that was my summer in a nutshell...WITH LOTS of summer school in between (I actually knocked out a whole semester)!

I look like wax!!!

Wow last week was so crazy...busy school week and lots of personal stuff going on. Ha I went to a wax museum and this picture cracks me up...I think I look like wax even in this!!! Anyways, this weekend took a turn for the worse...I ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. I seriously wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy...worst pain of my life!!! Thankfully, I'm almost back to normal and finishing up my last full week of summer school. Ready for finals and then 2 weeks of SUN AND THE BEACH!!!

I had the best weekend with these 3 girls!!!

As I get older I realize how blessed I am to have such amazing friends. We all tend to go our separate ways and down different paths but we always are there for each other. Whether we live 10 or 1000 miles apart. Here's to many many more great weekends with you girls and our single girls cruise in a couple weeks!!!

The day has finally arrived

This weekend will be bittersweet :(....

My best best best (did I say best?) friend is moving half way across the country and this will be our final weekend to spend together. I love this girl and I don't know what I'm going to do without her. Thankfully, I won't be camping out in the library studying this weekend so we have some major fun planned by the pool ;) I love you Anna banana!!!!!!!!! You will truly be missed but I pray that God will keep you safe in all your adventures to come.

Say What!?

Isn't it funny how people go from hating each other to wanting to get married. I don't know about you but I don't think that really sounds like love. Hopefully they will have a long happy marriage but these two have a hard road in front of them I believe. Changing subject....isn't their little boy ADORABLE!!!??? Ha I could eat him up!!!

37 Days...

Only 37 more days and I'll be on a boat with some of my best friends!!! Let me tell you this and my vacation to Florida in a few weeks are the only things getting me through summer school right now ha! I'm ready to sink my toes in the sand and get a golden tan. Let the countdown begin...

STUDY STUDY STUDY

I can't believe I spent 7 straight hours on campus in the library yesterday studying. It wouldn't have been so bad IF it wasn't our first nice sunny spring weekend. I'll be spending today doing it again :( but that's the price you pay when your pre-med and have to make all A's! However, I did have a little fun and met some friends for dinner and then drinks on top of Dickson Street Inn. We ate at HammonTrees on Dickson and you MUST try this cute little place if your in Fayetteville and then we found a new wine place (sorta like the Wine Cellar) except its outside on top of the roof with amazing views and candle light!!! Little Rock Weekend

(I do my own nails probably twice a week...and I get asked all the time if my nails are fake because they always look salon done...this product is around $10 a bottle so sorta expensive but lasts a long time. Also it normally costs $15-25 to have a manicure so you get your money's worth if you do your nails yourself.)

(I use this a couple times a week and it really works to get that extra dead skin off.)

(Ok, I've tried a chi and honestly it doesn't even compare to this baby. Also it costs umm like $25 and I got my first one freshmen year in college in 2005 and last year it finally went out and I bought another one...I will die if they ever discontinue.)

(Like any Southern girl I love the "poof" and I love this hair spray for that purpose.)
